Anyone who's known me since high school knows how much the band Death impacted my musical development. But equally as important as the music was Steve DiGiorgio's playing on Human and Individual Though Patterns. His basslines on many of these tunes ignited the spark for me to want to write and play contrapuntally and to explore different possibilities for my basslines.

Hearing how integral the melodic role of the bass was on tunes like Destiny completely changed my life and has been a HUGE part of what has shaped my identity as a bassist. Once I finished this new fretless bass, I knew that had to do a Death cover especially since I didn't have one on my channel yet. Sorry for the weird sounding mix and no intro but I'm trying to escape the copyright robots haha... Enjoy!
