As the transition to Tesla's native connector type slowly rumbles on, take a trip to one of only two Electrify America stations in the United States that offers a NACS/J3400 handle.

This pilot site in Connecticut was upgraded to 3 x Alpitronic HYC400 dispensers earlier this year, rather than the single cable BTC Power units with CCS1 that have become a common sight at newer EA locations.

While the higher power and multiple connectors will be a bonus for some EV drivers, does the added complexity and shift to yet another hardware vendor benefit everyone?
