Step up Saturday #9 - Crafting with no rules featuring Stampin' Up! Labeled with Love

Step up Saturdays are a series I’m really settling into now; I love taking the stamp set from the week before and seeing how I can use it with a wider range of craft supplies that I have available to me.

With that in mind, this week’s project is something slightly different from previous ones that I have made. I’ve turned the focus to the Designer Series Paper (DSP) and accented it with the butterfly stamp. A mixture of the Brights and Regals DSP paper packs have been used to create the tiled rainbow dot background, featuring staple colours like Real Red, Shaded Spruce and Crushed Curry. I love how bright and fun the card is with the inclusion of these colours.

Same as the Simple Sunday card, I’ve finished it off with a sentiment punched out with the co-ordinating punch – there is the die option available, if you prefer to use them. It’s a design that I will make again and perhaps switch up colours to see what other combinations look good.
