I'd rate this hotel about a 6 out of 10 (with 10 being the best). The rooms were nice and clean. The biggest problem is that its exterior is poorly maintained. It no longer looks like the photos they use for advertising.

The reality is this hotel is closest to Sea World -- a park that barely drew 3 million visitors last year.
Considering the Disney and Universal Parks all attract around 10 to 14 million guests annually -- this hotel has clearly been struggling in recent years due to its location.

The Monumental Hotel is conveniently situated on South International Drive, just a mile from the Sea World theme park, this property puts you close to your favorite attractions. Don't leave before paying a visit to the famous Walt Disney World.
