I played 9 holes at the Seasons Eco Golf Estate in Hartbeespoort during our year-end break. The overall experience of the resort was satisfactory but can be improved. The room was new, modern and minimal, but lacked that “hotel room” feel - it felt like a usual bedroom. The resort is still under construction and bare structures are scattered throughout. There are a few other activities, including a mini water park, electric scooter rentals, restaurant and spa. Within the surrounding “Harties” area, there’s the Cable Way, Snake and Animal Park, dam cruises and plenty more to keep entertained.

The course itself leaves a lot to be desired. The fairways were not mowed, greens caked and hard and the rough was very thick and rocky. If this course is not given some TLC ASAP, it will wither away and be lost forever.
