It is the Fear of Poverty that can paralyze a person in such a way that they neglect, miss, or ignore opportunities for riches and drift painfully towards poverty... which is that thing that they claimed to not want.

Once we understand the fear of poverty, we come to understand that things often work in contrast to what we would think. One could logically conclude that if a person feared poverty, they would do everything in their power to avoid it. Unfortunately, this isn't the case.
