A deadly car bombing has shaken Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, leaving at least ten people dead and thirty-two injured near the Frontier Constabulary headquarters. Authorities said militants opened fire before detonating the explosive-laden vehicle, but security forces retaliated swiftly, killing all four attackers. Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar confirmed six victims remain in critical condition as hospitals operate under emergency. Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti vowed the sacrifices of citizens and security forces “will not go in vain,” while President Asif Ali Zardari condemned the attack, blaming India-backed militants. Investigations into the perpetrators are ongoing.
