We love so much about Teacher April's Recorded Demo Interview! Her lesson "In the Morning" is rich with props and engagement. Notice how she pretends she has a student and "interacts" with him! April remains energetic and passionate throughout the entire lesson! She even laughs enthusiastically and patiently anticipates the student's response!

Here are some details we would love for you to notice and employ in your own demo:


She circles items on the screen! This helps the student know where to direct the eye!

She uses body language to communicate just as much as verbal language!

She smiles consistently!

She also uses a variety of dynamic facial expressions and variations in her voice to keep class interesting!

She uses transitional phrases to keep class moving along and hold the student's attention as she goes to the next slide!

Teacher April encourages her "student" with praise and the thumbs-up gesture!

She asks the student to repeat by cupping her ear!

She points to her mouth when introducing a new word or emphasizing pronunciation!

Great job, Teacher April! You deserve a trophy!
