Catching kicks in Muay Thai has its risks. If you don’t counter effectively then it is likely that your opponent will still score for the strike in the judges eyes. Having some effective sweeps in the bag when you have the leg will allow you to continuously dominate this particular dynamic whilst sparring or fighting.
