This is a Varahi temple in Thiruvannamalai, a town near a holy hill called Arunachala in Tamil Nadu, a state in southern India.

Dr. Pillai and some pilgrims are walking around this shrine to absorb waves of positive energy that emanate from the temple.

Dr. Pillai says Varahi is an active archetype for this year and for years to come. She is a goddess who can give us all the wealth of the Earth plane.
According to Dr. Pillai, Varahi is an aspect of Lakshmi or Shreem Brzee. She is an archetype for material wealth. In particular, Varahi has a special connection to gold and all that is under the Earth as well as all that grows on top of the Earth.

She is associated with the North direction. The directional energy of the North is said to carry the power of money, treasure and energy to generate opportunities to acquire wealth.

Dr. Pillai and the pilgrims make prayers to the goddess Varahi. They then accept some blessed red powder called kumkum from the priest. Some of the kumkum powder is dotted between the eyebrows, signifying the opening of the third eye.

Dr. Pillai says that the form of archetypes symbolizes some of their qualities. Varahi is depicted as a goddess with a boar’s head and the body of a woman. Varahi belongs to Earth just as the boar does. She can dig wealth out from the depths with her snout. She holds wealth blessings steady in her tusks. Her tusks also represent her ability to ward off negative interference.

The Varahi shrine at the temple is enclosed on three sides. When people stand in front of the only opening, they often say her mantra and drink in the beauty of her enlivened statue. Pilgrims often feel the love and supreme protection from the goddess.

At the temple, Dr. Pillai says, “This is a defining moment in the lives of every one of you. Whatever has happened before was a different life. And you will now have a different life.”

Water is a cleansing element in all traditions. Dr. Pillai stands before a fountain filled with water that has been used in the ritual bathing of an enlivened statue of Varahi. He anoints himself and then sprinkles some holy water on the pilgrims, washing away their karma and blessing them.

Dr. Pillai teaches, “You should take the mind out, and put the mantra in. There should be only one thing in your mind, and that is the Goddess.” Dr. Pillai suggests we all pray to Varahi with complete sincerity.

We can invite her into our hearts and into our lives. We can call her name by chanting her mantra. He explains she is a performing goddess, and she will reply swiftly with blessings.
Dr. Pillai has released this mantra with permission for everyone to use and experiment with:

Om Shreem Brzee Sri Swarna Varahi Deviyai Namaha
Om Shreem Brzee Sri Swarna Varahi Deviyai Namaha
Om Shreem Brzee Sri Swarna Varahi Deviyai Namaha
