ECHILLS WOOD RAILWAY - Narrow Gauge Weekend 2024:

More narrow gauge (7.25") entertainment but exchanging the Welsh Mountains for Warwickshire Woodland.
This very popular railway follows a circuit of some 2km and is fully signalled & controlled & safely operated by a dedicated team of volunteers (more are always welcome).

The railway is located in Kingsbury Water Park just 5 minutes drive from Jct 9 of the M42 in North Warwickshire and always worth a visit.

This event over a three day weekend showcases small narrow gauge type locomotives where the owners enjoy running them on Friday & Saturday with the public riding on Sunday when this was filmed.
As a former volunteer myself, it was good to catch up with many familiar faces during my visit and to wander the route filming these incredible little locomotives hauling a lot of happy people despite some sharp afternoon showers......... Was almost like being back in Wales!!!
