Healthy Toddler Cookies with Dry Dates | No Sugar, No Soda, No Butter! No egg

These soft, eggless toddler cookies are made with dry dates, nuts, jowar, and almond flour—no sugar, soda, or butter! Naturally sweet, rich in healthy fats, and perfect for guilt-free snacking for little ones.




Toddler Dry Date Nut Cookies

🍪 Ingredients

Dry date powder 85 g ~¾ cup

Warm milkv70 ml ~4 tbsp + 2 tsp

Almond flour 40 g ~⅓ cup

Jowar flour 60 g ½ cup

Desiccated coconut 20 g ~3 tbsp

Cashew nuts 20 g ~2 tbsp (before grind)

Walnuts 20 g ~2 tbsp (before grind)

Pumpkin seeds 15 g ~1½ tbsp (before grind)


👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prepare Nut Powder

Lightly dry roast cashews, walnuts, and pumpkin seeds in a pan for 2–3 minutes on low flame until aromatic.

Let them cool completely. Then grind to a fine or slightly coarse powder.

Transfer the nut-seed powder to a mixing bowl.

2. Mix Dry Ingredients

To the same bowl, add:

Almond flour

Jowar flour

Desiccated coconut

Dry date powder Mix everything well with a spatula or whisk.

3. Add Milk & Form Dough

Slowly pour in the warm milk and mix using your hands.

Knead to form a soft, slightly sticky but shapeable dough. 💡 Tip: Add 1–2 tsp more milk only if needed.

4. Shape the Cookies

Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F).

Place the dough on a clean surface, flatten with a rolling pin (½ cm thick).

Cut into desired shapes using cookie cutters.

Place cookies on a parchment-lined baking tray.

5. Bake

Bake at 160°C for 15 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.

Let cookies cool completely — they’ll firm up as they cool.

🌞 Ingredients:

Dry dates (also called kharik or chuara) – as needed (preferably seedless)


🔪 Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Clean the dates:

Rinse the dry dates in water to remove any dust or residue.

Spread them on a clean kitchen towel and let them air dry completely—preferably under a fan or sun for a few hours. Moisture can spoil the powder.

2. De-seed (if needed):

If your dates have seeds, remove the seeds using a knife or by breaking them open.

3. Roast (optional but recommended):

Lightly roast the dry dates on low flame in a pan for 2–4 minutes until they feel slightly crisp. This step helps remove any residual moisture and makes grinding easier.

4. Cool completely:

Let the roasted dates cool to room temperature.

5. Grind:

Break the dates into small pieces and grind them in a high-speed blender or spice grinder in small batches.

Pulse at intervals to avoid overheating the machine.
