Описание к видео Feverfew (pre Blueboy) Poet Song & The Night It Rained Perfume LIVE 1988

Two songs recorded on mono cassette of Feverfew performing live in Reading in 1988. The first was not recorded professionally and is one of the last songs the band wrote together. Singer Keith Girdler announces it as a “…song about a poet” and so was simply referred to as the Poet Song. The second song is The Night It Rained Perfume and was available on the band’s third cassette which was sold through fanzines, at gigs and independent record stores in their hometown of Reading.

Personnel:
Keith Girdler - vocals
Paul Stewart - guitar
Phil Ball - bass
Victoria Gerring - backing vocals
Lloyd Haggar - drums

Photographs of the band are from a performance at Nino’s, a bar located below street level on Duke Street Bridge; ‘The Cell’ which was a set of rehearsal rooms at Cemetery Junction (and features Lee Haggar who stepped in on acoustic guitar) and the colour shots are from a live set on the bandstand in Forbury Gardens (with backing vocalist Christine who replaced Victoria briefly). All images taken in Reading c.1987 - 1989 and are privately owned.
