This is a brief demonstration showing the Spinner II model 25 centrifuge in action. Centrifuge operation is the same in larger Spinner II models. The box below the demo centrifuge houses a pump and motor, simulating the effect normal engine oil pressure would have in powering the centrifuge. In actual use, the centrifuge would have a rotor cover that contains oil exiting the rotor. For this demonstration, the cover has been removed and a clear, plastic dome allows you to see the spinning rotor and processed oil (transmission oil is used in this demonstration).
