3 green bananas
1/2 teaspoon salt (for water to boil green bananas)
2/3 cup olive or any oil
2 tablespoons white vinegar
1/2 sliced onion
7 whole garlic cloves (can be minced or mashed)
2 bay leaves
1/4 cup alcaparrados or Spanish Olives (pitted)
1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
