Kyengera Town Council councillors have criticised government’s Operation wealth creation programme on the grounds that farmers are given seedlings without educating them on farming methods.
The comments were made during a function yesterday at Nsangi in Wakiso district where the Mayor Abdu Kiyimba handed 15000 passion fruit seedlings to farmers.
Kiyimba advised farmers to use best farming methods to get good yields.
