Re-Shaping a Fender Jazz Bass Neck -you just a need some sandpaper and patience: Chinese bass Part 1

This Chinese copy of a Fender Jazz Bass has a neck that is not shaped like a standard Jazz bass. It is more like a Precision bass neck width but even those dimensions are slightly off. Since I prefer a Jazz neck for my basses, I decide to reshape the neck using some sandpaper and elbow grease. Now, this is a Chinese copy of a Fender Jazz bass (Fake) so this is not surprising that the neck is wrong. It also means that I am not concerned about sanding the neck because it is not valuable... but, I do like this bass overall and I think I will enjoy playing it with a proper sized neck. Once I am done with then neck, in Part 2, I will give this bass a proper setup, clean and polish the frets and change the bridge saddles to brass ones. Enjoy the video!
