In Blood Hunt Issue 2, the stakes have never been higher as the Avengers take on the formidable Blood Coven. Captain Marvel, Captain America, Iron Man, and Vision join forces to battle the vampire onslaught, led by the treacherous Blade, who has now become the leader of the Blood Coven.

The Avengers are prepared this time, with Vision outsmarting MEGRIM by cycling his brain patterns too quickly for MEGRIM's powers to affect him. Captain Marvel lands a powerful blow on BLODSTORM, while Captain America takes down the Smoke Eater. Iron Man, equipped with oscillating magnetic fields, neutralizes Cruel, but DAMASCENE attempts a sneak attack, only to be thwarted by Vision’s solar-powered beam.

With Captain Marvel breaking through the Darkhold shield, a beam of sunlight penetrates, weakening the vampires. The Avengers, along with Dracula and Bloodline, stand victorious as the Blood Coven retreats through a portal, vowing to return. As they regroup, Bloodline seeks Iron Man’s help to reach Greenwich Village, where Doctor Strange is gathering forces. However, upon arrival, Bloodline encounters a shocking revelation—Miles Morales Spider-Man, now turned into a vampire.
