Waddell Wilson is a former NASCAR Winston Cup crew chief and renowned engine builder. His accolades are countless. Waddell was the winning crew chief for the Daytona 500 in 1980, 1983, and 1984. He was a crew chief and or the engine builder for groups such as: Holman Moody, Harry Ranier, and Hendrick Motorsports, Drivers including Bobby Allison, Mario Andretti, Buddy Baker, Geoff Bodine, A. J. Foyt, Junior Johnson, Fred Lorenzen, Cale Yarborough and Ricky Rudd. Waddell Wilson is one of the greats and were honored to have featured him here on "Our Racing Heroes".
