Personally, with the benefit of replay, I think this is too tight for an out. Also, with the benefit of replay, the runner might be 37"-39" inches away...maybe. I think it depends on when we judge the tag attempt is initiated. In real time, I think it's cleaner to argue with the defense versus the offense on this play.

Announcers are full it it too. On this play, the runner's lane is only here for 3ft calibration.
