The Twelve | Session 65

Last time, our group were in the wake of the terrible passing of Boko at the hands of the Corrupted Titan. They were desperately trying to wrap up the battle while drained of resources. The magical mishaps of the Mournland kept magic from being very helpful but Theschault was able to quickly finished off the Injured Infiltrator and turn his attention to the Titan in a rage of vengeance. He was able to turn the tables on the creature, getting the Titan grappled and holding him in place as Roland let loose a volley of blasts from his rifle into the creature's head and chest until it fell down, unmoving. At the same time, Bungo was fighting to get free of the Reanimator's paralyzing ray as it slowly approached and imprisoned him. Thankfully Renny was finally able to get his magic to break through and end the paralysis while Rea broke Bungo free. In the remnants of the battle, Theschault stood near Boko's body feeling the grief and conflict of failing to protect a friend. Roland came over to offer some support and eventually attempted a Speak with Dead ritual in Boko's own garb to try and connect with his spirit. Instead, the spell found no dead spirit to connect with and Roland discovered an unbelievable and yet undeniable truth...Boko's skeleton was of metal and not bone. What kind of creation was this? What does it mean? Is Boko out there somewhere? Let's tune in and find out.
