The final Powerhouse Pokémon to appear in the 7 Star Tera Raid Battles, and it is Dragapult, and this one isn't too difficult, as it has a Dragon Tera Type and doesn't have any moves that are super effective against Fairy-type Pokémon, making them the best counter. I don't know what they will do after that, as this is the final Powerhouse Pokémon to appear in the Tera Raid Battles.
Dragapult has the Dragon Tera Type, and its moves are Dragon Darts, Shadow Ball, Acrobatics, and Flamethrower, and its additional moves are Dragon Dance and Breaking Swipe, and it has Cursed Body for its Ability. It starts with Dragon Dance right away, and for scripted actions, at 86% time, Dragapult resets the player stats, which it will then follow up with Breaking Swipe, and it resets player stats again at 55% HP. At 43% HP remaining, Dragapult resets its stats, and it follows that up with Dragon Dance.
Fairy-type Pokémon are the best counters for this one, and as it puts up a shield when there is 92% HP or time remaining, you will want to start with Charm to lower its Attack, and some Pokémon, like Primarina or Clefable, can use Chilling Water to lower Dragapult's Attack while its shield is up.
I went with Primarina for this one, and the set uses Calm Mind, Moonblast, and Draining Kiss for its main attacks, and it has Chilling Water if I need to keep Dragapult's Attack in check, and I did have two allies using Sylveon, and one using Ogerpon, which isn't the best counter as it is weak to Acrobatics.
Alcremie is a great support Pokémon for this one if you have Aroma Veil, as this will block the effects of Cursed Body, and it can use Decorate to power up its teammates. Another good support option is Grimmsnarl, as it resists Dragapult's Shadow Ball and is immune to Dragon Darts, it can use Spirit Break to lower Special Attack, and it can set up screens to reduce the damage taken.
Dragapult has base 142 Speed, making it one of the fastest Pokémon in the game, well out of the ones that are used in competitive battling as neither Electrode or Accelgor have ever seen OU success throughout the generations, and not counting Mega-Evolved Pokémon like Mega Aerodactyl, Mega Alakazam, Mega Sceptile, and Mega Beedrill. Dragapult has the same base Speed stat as Mega Greninja, and it is one point below Zeraora, I do wonder what Mega Zeraora's base Speed stat will be when the DLC for Pokémon Legends: Z-A comes.
Dragapult is a mixed attacker, while base 100 might not be that great when compared to Pokémon like Gengar or Chandelure, it has proved to be a top tier threat in Generation 8 with that high Speed stat. Dragapult can use whichever set it wants, a physical set with Dragon Darts, Phantom Force, Acrobatics, U-turn, Psychic Fangs, and many other moves, or it can go with special moves like Draco Meteor, Shadow Ball, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Surf, and many other attacks. Dragapult can even use its Speed stat to set up screens, and it can go with the Hex and Will-O-Wisp combo.
For Tera Type, due to Phantom Force being a two turn move, and Dragapult being unable to learn any reliable physical Ghost-type move like Shadow Claw or Poltergeist, which I don't get why it can't even learn Shadow Claw when it can learn Dragon Claw, it can use a Ghost Tera Type along with Tera Blast to give it a reliable Ghost-type physical move. Dragapult can even work with a Dragon Tera Type to hit hard with Draco Meteor, or on mixed stats with Dragon Darts, Fire is another good Tera Type option for Flamethrower, or Steel with Tera Blast to counter Fairy-types, as well as a good defensive Tera Type for Dragapult. Fairy or Steel are good options for the Hex and Will-O-Wisp set, even though that one is more for support, making it not that reliant on Terastallization.
With every Powerhouse Pokémon having appeared in the Tera Raid Battles, I don't know what they will do next for the 7 Star Tera Raid Battles, as we don't have any news on when Pokémon Champions will come out, or when Generation 10 will come.
