Until Dawn REMAKE | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

Recently I archived the original Until Dawn on the PlayStation 4 and this year the new remake was of course released. Since its still spooky season it is the perfect time to archive this remake as well. Until Dawn still stands as the best game that Supermassive has ever made in my opinion and this remake actually adds a bit more depth and cool twists to the original story.
The game feels entirely different since it plays now from a third person perspective instead of the fixed camera angles. It was really cool to revisit familiar areas and see them from this different view. The game also looks much nicer than the original with beautiful textures, gorgeous lighting and incredible facial expressions. It does look a lot darker though, and I have to admit that I do prefer the more blue tones from the original PS4 game.
The developers also added a bit more content with most noteworthy being the new intro where you get to see a bit more of Beth and Hannah. I thought this was brilliant, since I felt more for these two tragic characters compared to the first game where everything happens quite fast.
There also have been a few more lines added to characters here and there and luckily its easier to get the extra content with Matt and Emily. There are even some new endings and a surprise at the end.
Despite having played the original game only a couple of weeks ago, I had a fantastic time with this remake and think it delivers a great experience for those new to Supermassive's formula. This remake was made by a different studio, but they did a great job. Maybe hopefully we will get a Until Dawn 2 someday.
