The Parasite from Growth is one whos made by a bunch of Scientists who you would likely consider hacks. Now, sure, science IS mostly based on throwing stuff against the wall and seeing what sticks, but a little bit of caution may have been the move for this one. On a small island near Maine, a parasite would be sued to enhance humans to the point of almost making them superhuman. However this would have consequences on their mental stability as well as you know, parasites being parasites and eating them.
