Imagine you are going to travel. You want to plan ahead and find a place to stay on your trip.
What are two verbs you need to know?
“Book” and “reserve” are two of the most useful verbs for traveling. The two words have basically the same meaning. But it is good to know both of them.
You can use “book” and “reserve” to talk about hotels, flights, car rentals, and so on.
Let’s start with “book.” In this case, we are not talking about the noun, a book. We are talking about the verb “to book.”
Book involves one vowel sound.
Book has two consonant sounds,
When we put the consonants and vowels together, we get this:

So, you might say “I would like to book a room.”
Or you might say “I need to book a rental car.”
Now let’s turn to “reserve.”
Reserve involves two vowel sounds
“Reserve” has three consonant sounds,
