Together with Dr Oleg Loskutov, Dr Pylypenko is co-author of a recent article in Intensive Care Medicine, titled "The courage of Ukrainian hospitals and intensive care units in the first months of the Russia–Ukraine war". Dr Pylypenko is Head of the Intensive Care and Anaesthesia Department at Romodanov Neurosurgery Institute, National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, and Associate Professor of the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine.
