2D average velocity vector given a position vector as a function of time.

We are given a position vector as a function of time r(t), and we want to compute the average velocity vector on the time interval [0,2]. To compute the average velocity vector, we compute the initial and final position. Then the final position vector minus initial position vector gives the displacement vector for that time interval. Finally, we divide by the width of the time interval to get the average velocity vector on the given time interval.
