Trains at Preston - 03/03/2020

Filmed on 03/03/2020. A second trip to Lancashire see's a day filming at 2 stations. It is a day when it is out of the old and in with the new and newest trains either on test or either in service, this is Preston (Season 7 Episode 6)

The station along the West Coast Mainline normally see's a variety of passenger and freight services. Sadly, on this day this there was no freight that was seen. but there was something that was just as good. The lastest of the new and newest trains which operates on test or in service.

Transpenine Express had a Nova 2 set on test as well as a Nova 2 in service. The ex Transpennine Express units class 350 Desiro units are awaiting to begin their new career with London NorthWestern Railway once all the Nova 2's are in service.
