I was literally stunned by this new Saxony German military rapier by LK Chen. After watching reports by ‪@Skallagrim‬ and ‪@UnsheathedSwordReviews‬, I expected this rapier to cut well, given its broad blade (for a rapier), excellent distal taper and refined edge bevel. Yet still, it managed to shock with its smooth cutting performance on a number of different targets, especially on the 15% ballistic gelatin human thigh analog complete with a wooden dowel in the center to simulate bone! It sheared through the target time and again like a lightsaber, so much so that it cut even better than my Albion Maximilian--an early Renaissance two-handed sword! Review coming very soon!
