"Serenity Painted Death" from Opeth's "Still" album (1999).
What a song... Only one song from Still Life left now. I changed a whoooole lot of things when it comes to the tab. There is one live video that I found on Youtube where you can see Mendez the ENTIRE time which was super mega helpful. The section at 0:52 starts with a bit of a mess of frequencies. His hand barely moves so I'm probably not far off, but it's not 100% that. We'll never know unless we'll somehow get the official isolated bass track. The iconic riff at 1:43 contains a slight change which is playing the 3rd fret on the E string twice instead of once. The next correction comes at 3:28, bar 99 as an example. We play the 8th fret, but then play the octave note afterwards. Also confirmed in the live video! For the part at 4:33, I did not agree with 9/8+6/8 and I could also confirm that Mendez plays the open string note, not the 5th on E. At 7:07, the most changes happened. I could already tell that the bass played a lot of notes here, but the live video confirmed that once again. This is also the most difficult part in my opinion. And one final detail, be aware of the major variation in the final bar of the song! Bar 201 is very different so watch out for that one.
