EXPERT 2 spring model re-built from an H M V Exhibition soundbox

An ALL Brass re-build of an HMV soundbox like the types made famous by E.M.Ginn in his break-away from the E.M.G Gramophone Company that he called "EXPERT".
Like many of the E.M.G & EXPERT models, the HMV Exhibition soundbox is utilised as the basis for the design, where the rear plate & Needle bar assembly are built into these complicated soundboxes to enable the almost limitless adjustability of the Exhibition types to be taken to a whole new level for the Audiophiles of the 1920-30's period.
For this particular example a period Aluminium Diaphragm has been used in order to test the sound on a record using a bamboo / fibre needle as the soundbox is very heavy & a steel needle would damage the record.
