Glasses that Cure Motion Sickness | The Henry Ford's Innovation Nation

In this segment of The Henry Ford's Innovation Nation, Mo Rocca speaks with the co-founders of Boarding Ring — a French company that has developed glasses to cure motion sickness.

Motion sickness occurs when there is a sensory mismatch between what your eyes can see and what your body is feeling. When your eyes can't detect the movement that your inner ear and balance system feels, it can cause motion sickness.

Boarding Ring's glasses are designed for frontal and peripheral vision, with two lenses in front and one on either side of each eye. The lenses also contain a blue liquid that moves around to match the vehicle's movement, and thus the sensory conflict fades away in a few minutes.
