Colon Cancer Awareness - Dartmoor Demon 2016

Eleven of us cycled around Dartmoor to raise money for research into gene-based cancer therapies and immunotherapy at the Institute of Cancer Research. The ride was 60 miles long and included three of the ten toughest hills in the UK with a total ascent of about 1900 metres. It took us five and a half hours. Almost 500 amazingly generous friends sponsored us, for a total raise of about £250,000.

I have stage four colon cancer. My friends made this film to help raise awareness of colon cancer amongst younger people. Too many people are unaware of the symptoms, and very few are aware of screening programmes. Please forward this to your friends and help increase awareness of this, the third most common cancer in both men and women.
