Score / sheet music to Zelenka's second Credo setting, /Z. 32/, composed circa 1724, it is conceived as an eight-part double chorus with dialogue framed by a virtuosically conceived orchestral concerto. This manner of combining vocal and instrumental components is a foreshadowing of Zelenka's mature style of the 1730-40s.
The free handling of dissonances and the unusual voice leading in the eight-part vocal writing of the concluding Amen are tremendously effective.
