You read the title right. Almost 30 THOUSAND Mementos from a single battle! Thanks to Gafka's Musou skill and some clever turn arranging, I was able to use Musou ten times in a row.

For this to work, I first had to get Stocke down to 1 HP and enter a battle with the Memento Crab. Fortunately, Epitaph really did a number on Stocke, so that was easy enough to pull off. The second step is to actually encounter the Memento Crab.

The chance of Memento Crabs spawning in the White and Black Corridors of the Vault of Time appear to be correlated with your current Memento count. I spent one hour going back and forth on the last floors of the Black Corridor without any Mementos, and got nothing. Conversely, I ran into the Memento Crab while filming this at 10399 mementos, and it took me mere minutes. On my way out of the Vault, had already ran into another without even trying!

The Memento Crab can and will escape from you, vanishing if you chase it for too long. So you'll want to slash it with your sword, or just dive straight in.

In addition to turn breaking, you'll also want to do a couple Trans-Turns from Marco or Eruca, of course. I suggest keeping Eruca in the reserve for this, because there's a chance of her casting a magic spell, further increasing your combo. Alas, I was not that fortunate while recording this.
