How To Factory Reset Ninebot Scooter (How To Soft Reset Ninebot Scooter). In this video tutorial I will show you how to factory reset Ninebot scooter.

Here’s how to do it:
● Ensure you have turned off your scooter. If it's on, press the power button until it turns off.
● Simultaneously press and hold the scooter’s brake lever, throttle, and power button.
● Continue holding the three switches until the display shows a red sign. The duration of holding the buttons will vary across Ninebot scooter models.
● When the red sign appears on the scooter's display, release the three switches. Your Ninebot scooter will be factory reset.
Alternatively, in some models with a dedicated reset button, here’s how to do it:
● Ensure the scooter is sufficiently charged. A fifty percent charge is ideal before you start the factory reset process.
● Press your scooter’s power button until the unit shuts down.
● Locate the reset button on your Ninebot scooter. The reset button is ideally placed near the scooter's charging port or underneath its footpad.
● Once you've identified the reset button's position, use a paper clip or similar tool to long-press it for approximately 10 seconds. You may hear a beeping sound indicating that the reset process has started.
● After the 10 seconds have elapsed, release the reset button. Your scooter will then reboot for approximately two minutes.
● Once your Ninebot scooter has been factory reset, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process.

Apart from a factory reset, you can opt for a soft reset, which can resolve minor issues on your Ninebot scooter without clearing all the data, as a factory reset does. Here's how to do it:
● Power off your scooter and let it sit for a few seconds. This will allow the scooter to erase its memory.
● Then turn on your scooter and check whether the soft reset has resolved the minor issues before doing a factory reset.
