Continuing Education for Ukrainians | AWS Public Sector

During the ongoing conflict, AWS has supported a wide range of vital educational initiatives for Ukrainians both at home and displaced abroad to ensure that learners of all ages can continue their education, no matter where they are.

A few of these efforts include preserving critical data by migrating education records and research to the cloud, supporting distance learning at the Optima School and Ukrainian universities, and creating ITSkills4U, a free program that offers training in cloud, language, and professional skills for refugees. AWS educational initiatives have enabled students, researchers, and teachers impacted by the war to continue their educational activities from anywhere in the world.

This video features a series of interviews with students and teachers shot on location in Poland, which hosts nearly 1 million Ukrainian refugees. The video also features a statement from Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine’s deputy prime minister and minister of digital transformation, and is narrated by AWS Director of Digital Government Transformation Liam Maxwell.
