Register FIR online for stolen vehicles in

The Karnataka State Police has introduced an option to file e-FIR for stolen vehicles on its web portal. Karnataka DGP Praveen Sood said the citizen-centric initiative is also aimed at reducing avoidable footfalls at police stations. The website allows for filing of e-FIR through easy steps to fill in basic details like name, vehicle registration number and date of incident among others. The police, however, has cautioned that false or mischievous complaints are punishable offences.
