Swindon Town Centre Tour: GHOST TOWN in RUINS & CRIME-RIDDEN

In this video, we take a tour around Swindon town centre, which is one of the most rundown, messy, ghost towns we've been to.

It's sad to see really, I want there to be a bustling economy as much as anyone and would love to see the High Streets and City Centres go back to being a place where people shop, dine, and hang out.

But the reality is that due to online shopping increasing, COVID lockdowns, and also the cost of living crisis which more recently has forced thousands of businesses to shut up shop - city centres are depressing.

Crime is rampant too. There are around 200 reported crimes every month in and around Swindon’s town centre, most of which are alcohol-related and shoplifting.

What’s the town center like where you live? How’s it holding up compared to just a few years ago?
