Mars Orbital Surveyor | KSP Cinematic

This is a Kerbal Space Program cinematic portraying the launch of Mars Orbital Surveyor, a fictional spacecraft built by NASA and JPL to explore, study, and map Mars and its moons. It was launched on an Atlas V on the 27th of August 2007, and after its 8-month journey arrived at Mars on the 20th of April, 2008. It is still operational today and providing useful data for researchers on Earth.
