Planitarium Ambience -|- VCV Rack

What began as having a first go at trying out Blamsoft's XFX Wave module turned into something I imagine listening to while watching the stars at a planetarium (I haven't been to one since I was a kid, so for all I know they may play totally different music during their shows these days...).

One instance of the XFX creates the root note, while the second creates harmony via S&H through a simple quantizer. The third, then, creates subtle, sweeping noise that comes and goes.

The remaining voices are all there to add occasional texture: bass sweeps, bleeps and blips, a walkie-talkie-like formant voice, some chords, and something that sounds a bit like rocks tumbling (not sure how that fits the planetarium theme, but I liked the sound).

My computer struggled to record video for this one, so the actual video here is just a loop of the recording, and there were many dropped frames along the way, so it's far from an accurate representation of the patch...
