Beacon has amazing views and natural beauty. Everywhere in Beacon you are surrounded by mountain views, trees and rivers or creeks. Nestled at the base of Mt. Beacon, the town rests between the Hudson River to the west and Fishkill Creek running directly through town at the east end.

Beacon is home to so much beauty! Late fall and early winter don't show off how gorgeous Beacon is in the same way as the other three seasons, but you can see the homes and buildings better when the trees are bare.

Madam Brett is one of my favorite places in Beacon because of the water fall and Fishkill Creek flowing to the Hudson River. If you are here visiting Beacon on foot, it's about a mile and a half from East Main Street and the Howland Cultural Center. It's a bit of a walk, but it's worth it!
