Nick Knowles pays tribute as ‘wonderful’ DIY SOS star dies after episode airs

✍ To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video  DIY SOS host Nick Knowles has paid tribute to a star who tragically died after his episode of the show aired.  The first episode in this series focused on Darren Hudson and his son Oliver, who was severely disabled.  Oliver was diagnosed with a degenerative spinal condition in 2017, which left him unable to walk.  On the show, Darren explained that he had been sharing Oliver’s room downstairs in his house after his wife tragically died months earlier.  Nick and team were brought on board to transform Darren’s house, which he also shared with his other son Harvey and step-son Mike.  However, following the programme, viewers were left heartbroken when Nick revealed that Oliver had sadly died.  ‘We @DIYSOS send condolences to Darren & family on the sad passing of wonderful Ollie who is missed & was so loved,’ he wrote, with the show’s official Twitter sharing a simi ...
