Cruising along in the Virginia countryside, and then ... a loud grinding, crunching sound. Well, that can't be good. Towed to Charlottesville, and some time with the transmission specialists and KITT now has a rebuilt transmission - in just three days! While he was occupied we got out and about with a rental car and biked a rail trail to the originally named High Bridge in Farmville and ventured into an old railway tunnel at Blue Ridge, as well as a wander around downtown Charlottesville.
