I am so happy that Punjabi Poetry lovers and YouTube viewers who like watching Pakistani Punjabi Movie Songs have liked my recently uploaded video of the Khawaja Pervaiz song Bhul Jaan ae Sub Gham Duniya De sung by Noor Jahan and filmed on legendary Pakistani actress Firdaus Begum . . . In my video, I let the song play in the background and used various close up pics of Firdaus Begum taken from the actual movie scene where this song is played . . . My YouTube viewers seemed to have liked this idea . . . focusing on the beautiful facial features of Firdaus Begum's face, especially where she exposes the vulnerability of her soul, seems to have worked for this video and it has gotten nearly 300 views in the first 24 hours . . . posted on Sunday, 19th September, 2021

Here I have uploaded this memorable song " Bhul Jaan ae Sub Gham Duniya De " sung by three Pakistani singers: Noor Jahan gives a poignant performance, followed by Masood Rana and finally Sain Khawar Hussain, son of the legendary Pakistani Punjabi singer Sain Akhtar Hussain. The lyrics of this song are shown at the end of this video.

The opening lines (or "mukhraa") of this Punjabi song are by music composer Nazir Ali while the rest of the song is written by the prolific lyricist Khawaja Pervaiz. Khawaja Ghulam Mohiuddin Pervaiz (1930-2011), popularly known as Khawaja Pervaiz, was an immensely successful Punjabi as well as Urdu song writer for the Pakistan Film Industry throughout the 1960's, 1970's, 1980's and onwards up to his demise in 2011.

The Punjabi movie in which this song was used is Dilaan Day Sauday released in 1967 from Lahore, Pakistan. The Pakistani actress Firdaus gives a moving performance in this song ... her immense screen appeal, breathtaking beauty and her vulnerable soul shine through in these scenes from Dilaan Day Sauday.

Khawaja Ghulam Mohiuddin Pervaiz (1930-2011 Khawaja Pervaiz), was born into a Kashmiri family in Amritsar, British India in 1930, emigrated to Pakistan in 1947 and graduated with a B.A. degree from Dayal Singh College, Lahore in 1954. Khawaja Pervez's first film, as a lyricist, was Diljeet Mirza's Rawaj in 1965 in Pakistan. He got a big breakthrough from the song "Tum hee ho mehboob meray" in film Aina (1966) sung by Irene Parveen and Masood Rana with music composed by M. Ashraf.
