So... Samurai Champloo. Much-beloved anime series with a bit of a fanbase, you may have heard. Now what if I told you there was a game for it? Made by Suda 51? This is a thing that happened in 2006 for the PS2 that barely anyone heard of. Unfortunately, this being the time of Suda 51 (known at this point as Grasshopper Manufacture) before No More Heroes, not only did nothing make sense, the controls are shallow at best, the writing has literally no coherence, and the structure is completely whack.

Now let's see where this game's god tier writing goes, starting with Jin because A) I'm a rebel who likes Jin more than Mugen, and B) Jin has the better story mode between the two.

Personally, I like Samurai Champloo a bit, but it's not really my thing. The episodic structure and spastic mood shifts between episodes never really appealed to me too much, but I can appreciate the legacy this show left and the sheer artistic integrity put into it. Figured since this game exists and no in-depth quality Let's Plays of this game exists, I'd pay the show its respects and cover the game.
