ThinkTool Mini is a fully-fledged diagnostics system in addition to being a great scanner. It can get quite complicated, so I decided to summarize it in a quick video showing what you get for free and what is paid on this scanner. Right out of the box the scanner allows you to do full system diagnostics on 94 different car makes, this includes reading the codes, clearing the codes, viewing live data as well as different module information. In additional to individual module readings, you can also perform standard OBD2 functions like reading general codes, checking emission system to see if the car is ready to pass the test and viewing PID live data which shows real-time measurements of the system data like the Short Term Fuel Trims and engine load.
Paid features get you access to special functions on each module where you can perform tasks such as injector compensation, idle adjustments, oil circuit start-ups, coolant flushes, injector deactivations and pretty much anything you can think of.
You will also gain access the actuation function, which allows you to trigger different items on most modules on the car.
The last paid function that gets added to the scanner is ECU coding.
