Perfect catch on all Legendary fish and Extended family in iridium quality | Stardew Valley

Perfect Catches on all Legendary fish and their quest counterparts in iridium quality. Done unmodded.

Perfect catches are done by not letting the fish leave the green bar you control and if done would increase quality by one. It is one of the two ways of obtaining iridium quality fish. The other is through quality bobber which increases quality by one and is unlocked from a billboard quest from Willy. The fish must be gold quality initially to make it iridium by either perfect catches or quality bobber. Silver quality to iridium quality would require both perfect catches and quality bobber.

Behavior of fish differs from each of the fish. Order of the fish in the video is based on their difficulty rating.

80 dart - Mutant carp/Radioactive carp

85 smooth - Angler/Ms. Angler

95 mixed - Crimsonfish/Son of Crimsonfish

100 mixed - Glacierfish/Glacierfish Jr.

110 mixed - Legend/Legend II

Setup:

Mutant carp - Dish O' the Sea, Iridium rod with bait and cork bobber, level 10 fishing. Total: Level 13 fishing

Angler, Crimsonfish, Glacierfish and Legend - Seafoam Pudding, Iridium rod with wild bait (bait for angler), level 10 fishing. Total: Level 14 fishing

Radioactive Carp and Ms. Angler - Seafoam Pudding, Iridium rod with Master enchant, wild bait and cork bobber, level 10 fishing. Total: Level 15 fishing

Son of Crimsonfish, Glacierfish Jr., and Legend II - Seafoam Pudding with Qi seasoning, Iridium rod with Master enchant, cork bobber and wild bait and level 10 fishing. Total: Level 16 fishing

Dish O' the Sea/Seafoam pudding increase level by 3/4 levels. Qi seasoning can be applied to make food item gold quality which gives an additional level and slightly longer duration. On Seafoam pudding, it would give 5 fishing levels.

Wild bait/bait decrease time for fish to bite with wild bait being slightly better.

Cork bobber increases size of the green bar.

Iridium rod required to allow equipping of cork bobber and bait/wild bait. Iridium rod can also be enchanted to have master enchant to increase fishing level by one.

Level 10 fishing is required as angler, crimsonfish, glacierfish and legend have fishing level requirements. (Angler requires level 3, crimsonfish requires level 5, glacierfish requires level 6 and legend requires level 10. Level 10 also increases the size of the green bar.

For the extended family, the extended family quest is required to catch them.
