Lessons Learned From 10+ Years of Managing, Underwriting, & Investing in Commercial Real Estate // I put a lot of work in early in my commercial real estate career to connect with real estate industry veterans and learn from their experiences, but one of the things I regret is that most of these conversations were focused almost exclusively on my career growth and the kinds of jobs I should be targeting.

And if I could go back in time and do it all over again, I would ask a lot more questions specifically about investing in commercial real estate, since this could have helped me avoid a lot of the mistakes that I’ve ultimately had to learn the hard way on my own.

So to share my answers to some of the questions that I wish I had asked back in 2012, in this week's video, I'll share three of the biggest lessons I've learned over the last 10+ years I've spent managing, underwriting, and investing in commercial real estate, and what i would do differently if I could do it all over again.
