Have you made homemade vanilla?? 👇🏻👇🏻

It’s actually WAY easy!!

I ended up using 2 bottles of Tito’s
1. 375 ml and 750ml Tito’s vodka (can use any neutral 80 proof vodka)
2. For that amount of vodka I used 38 beans. So in the smaller Tito’s (375 ml) I put 12 beans (sliced vertically)
3. For the bigger Tito’s (750 ml) I used 26 beans (sliced vertically)

Put the caps on, shake, and store somewhere cold and dark! Try to shake at least 1 time a week, or whenever you remember or step into that room. Best if used after 6 months, but can start using after 3 months.

These are the instructions I have written on each bottle:

Handmade with Love
100% PURE VANILLA EXTRACT
Bottled: (for me it was 10/10/25) Ready: (3MO later, so for me 1/10/26)
-shake periodically
-store in cool dark place
-can refill with vodka
-flavor stronger as it brews


I ended up spending $75 dollars total, between vanilla beans, Vodka, and bottles!

That ended up filling all 8 of my 4oz bottles, but I still had enough for one more bottle, plus 2 extra ounces left over! That makes it under $8 per bottle, which is cheaper than what you can buy at the store!

I’m definitely making my own Vanilla from now on! And with my own bottle I can continue to refill, it will make it even cheaper!! 👏🏻👏🏻

Also… it smells SO GOOD!!
